Amelie is one of my favorite films! Love the acting, the direction, the design, and well... Audrey Tautou ;)It was nice to see the director, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Audrey Tautou got together to create this short. Nothing super spectacular, but still nice to see.

Apparently Audrey Tautou is going to be playing Coco Chanel. So, this is a nice "warm up" for her in the role. Woot! Enjoy.

Hey Bobby, I'm right there with you! She's one of my favorites and so is Jeunet. I actually got to work on set with her once...she wasn't acting though, she was working as a makeup artist. I know...weird. Her boyfriend was the director so she was just helping out. She was extremely nice and seemed quite genuine. A cool gal.

ReplyDeleteIf you like the couple Jeunet/Tautou, you can also go for " Un long dimanche de fiancailles " the movie Jeunet did after Amélie ( in French, the movie title is Amélie Poulain ) :)

ReplyDeleteThats some really nice colour work going on there as well as camera work. But the use of colour grading ties in with the product really well.
