The power of a good book!

I've been reading a lot of great books lately, some of which have been absolutely fantastic. I feel like a new me. I'm so very happy with life and every moment. I am on the path that inspires me to wake up every day and be the best that I can be.

I recently read a book called, "I need your love, is that true?" by Byron Katie. I felt like this book was written for me. When reading it I was completely blown away. It's something I wanted to share here because if you've ever been, or are currently in a relationship and you feel the other person is responsible for your happiness, sadness, etc and if you are even the slightest bit jealous and/or possessive this book might be worth a read. It blew my mind. It made me reflect on my own life quite a bit. I love when books do that! If you are in to this type of thing I would highly recommend this one. I only recommend things that REALLY blow my mind and this one is up there. Enjoy.

  2. Hey Bobby!
Thanks for your willingness to be open during
this time of your life. It has helped me in a lot of ways
since I am going through something very similar.

very grateful that you are at the helm.

  3. I just finished reading "The Secret." It was a good book. Made me think about all the negativity that I impose on myself and how to call for the good positive things that I want in my life.

I am a sort of self-help junkie, too! I will definitely check this one out. Thanks for the heads up!

  4. The Secret is fantastic! I love and live my life by that. The law of attraction is huge. I use it in many ways, some of which I would like to share at some point in the future.

Iestyn and Anonymous, thanks for the support. I've received several emails about this post saying "Thank you" and have not received many posts in response to it. I understand this is kinda "touchy feely" stuff but that's kinda what i'm about. Ha ha. I'm comfortable with myself and who I am and I don't care what people say or think. My life coach gave me this saying that when other people say bad things about you or have ill feelings you can simply say or think to yourself, "Your opinion of me is none of my business." I LOVE that saying! That has really freed me in my life.

  5. B,
These great motivation advice and book recomendations have been very helpful in keep me in track and against negative hateful losers.. A good one I recommend is " Focus on the good Stuff" by mike robbins.

I was so consumed on what I dont have or want that, I totally forgot the great things I have done. and learning to appreciate the good and the awesome people around you. this book hit me like a ton of bricks.
